How to Retrieve Nabi Temporary Password?

Nabi manufactures tablets designed for kids that have a Parent Mode called Mommy mode or Daddy Mode which restricts access to apps like Facebook, Gmail, etc.

How to get Nabi Temporary Password?

Follow the steps mentioned below to get the Temporary Password for your Nabi Tablet.

(1) Turn ON your Nabi Tablet

(2) Press the Menu button(three vertical dashes), which is the third button from the bottom left corner.

(3) Select Mommy Mode or Daddy Mode.

(4) Enter the temporary password zxcv6789 and tap on the Submit button.

(5) Reboot your Nabi Tablet.

(6) That’s it. Now you can access all the apps inside Mommy mode or Daddy mode.

If this method doesn’t work and you’re getting an invalid password error then you need to Reset your Nabi password. This method is explained in the next section.

How to Reset Password in Nabi Tablet

You can reset your password in Nabi Tablet using the steps mentioned below.

(1) Turn ON your Nabi Tablet.

(2) Press the Menu button(three vertical dashes), which is the third button from the bottom left corner.

(3) Select Mommy Mode or Daddy Mode.

(4) Tap on the Forgot Password option.

(5) You will receive an email to reset your password at your registered email address.

(6) Log in to your email account, open the email that you’ve just received from Nabi and tap on the Reset Password button.

(7) Enter your registered email address and create a new password. After that, tap on the Continue button.

That’s it. You can now log in to Parent Mode(Mommy or Daddy mode) using the new password you’ve just set.

Can’t Log in to Mommy or Daddy Mode(Parent Mode)?

If you’re still getting the invalid password error even after entering the correct password then the problem lies in the Nabi servers. Sometimes, the servers cannot save changes made to an account due to server downtime or internet connectivity problems. To fix this issue you can try the solution mentioned below.

(1) Go to Settings and turn your WiFi OFF or you can set the tablet to Airplane mode.

(2) Press the Menu button and select Mommy mode or Daddy mode(Parent mode).

(3) Enter the correct password and hopefully, you’ll be able to log in without any problems.

If this method also doesn’t work then your last resort is to Factory Reset your Nabi tablet. A factory reset erases all the data from your device like apps, photos, videos, etc., and restores your device to its original state.

How to Factory Reset Nabi Tablet?

Before factory resetting your device you should back up your data in a Cloud service like Google Drive. After the backup is complete, follow the steps below to Factory Reset your Nabi tablet.

(1) Turn OFF your Nabi Tablet.

(2) Press and hold the Volume + button and the Power button together until a menu appears on the screen.

(3) Use the Volume – button to navigate below to the “Recovery Mode” option, and press the Volume + button to select this option.

(4) You will see an Android logo with the exclamation sign(!). Now, press and hold the Volume – button and the Volume + button together until you see the next menu.

(5) Use the Volume – button to navigate below to the “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” option and press the Power button to select this option.

(6) Use the Volume – button to navigate below to the “Yes-delete all user data” option and press the Power button to select this option.

(7) When the data wiping process is complete, the “Reboot System Now” option will appear on your screen. Press the Power button to select this option.

(8) After the initialization process is finished, you will see the Welcome screen. Follow the steps to complete the setup process.
